In addition to a current, valid PASSPORT, most EIFA academy student-players will require a STUDENT VISA in order to attend one of our international academic year football academies. The good news is that at EIFA we have over 10 years experience in assisting our participants to secure Student Visas!
We provide all the legal documents and invitation letters that are required to support the Visa application. We also provide regular email and telephone SUPPORT as needed and apply our expertise and experience to ensure that EIFA academy players are able to secure the appropriate VISA (allowing them entry into the desired EIFA academy).
Possession of a valid Student Visa is a condition for entry into many countries, however various exemption schemes do exist. In some cases visa-free entry may be granted. Student visas are granted by prior application at the country’s embassy or consulate in the in the country of departure. If there is no embassy or consulate in your home country you may have to travel to a third country and try to get a visa issued there as most applications have to be made in person. The need or absence of need of a visa generally depends on the citizenship of the applicant, the intended duration of the stay, and the activities that the applicant wishes to undertake in the country he/she visits.
Citizens of European Union member countries can travel to and stay in all other EU countries without a Visa. Any interested EIFA applicant with an EU passport will not require a VISA for our European venues in England, Spain, France and Italy. We encourage any interested party with access to an EU passport through a parent or grandparent to begin the process of applying for the EU as soon as possible as it will benefit them greatly by eliminating the need to apply for a VISA and is also highly advantageous for those extremely talented players that may be invited to a professional trial with a European based club.
A Student Visa is an indication that a person is authorized to enter the territory for which it was “issued”, subject to permission of an immigration official at the time of actual entry. The authorization may be a document, but more commonly it is a stamp endorsed in the applicant’s passport. Some countries do not require a visa in some situations, such as a result of reciprocal treaty arrangements. The country issuing the visa typically attaches various conditions to the visa, such as the territory covered by the visa, the time that the visa is valid, the period that the person may stay in the country, whether the visa is valid for more than one visit, etc.
Each country has its own specific requirements when receiving applications for Student Visas. EduKick has many years of experience and understanding in the application of Student Visas for many different countries and provides all of its participants with assistance and advice regarding Student Visa application.
